Grow & Lead

The Leadership Bootcamp training series is a cornerstone of our employee development efforts, designed to support current leaders, rising talent, and those with leadership potential. The programme spans 12 in-person classes, three online assessments, three written assignments, and one practical assessment. In 2025, 23 employees joined the Spring cohort and 21 the Summer cohort, selected through leader referrals and self-registration. By honing these skills, we strengthen individual growth and team performance across Ocean Hotels.

Grow & Lead

Our Hospitality 101: Customer Contact Refresher reinforced the core principles of luxury service across Ocean Hotels. Team members revisited essential practices such as using guest names, demonstrating emotional intelligence, and handling requests with care. These concise sessions ensure every interaction feels attentive, personal, and memorable.

Safety & Care

Across Ocean Hotels, 27 team members earned Pediatric First Aid certification in 2025 through training with the Barbados Heart & Stroke Foundation. This equips our people to respond to emergencies with confidence, giving families added peace of mind during their stay.

Safety & Care

Our Health is Wealth: Chasing the Summer Burn initiative kept wellness front and center with weekly sessions like boxing, soca aerobics, and cultural cardio. Team members also joined challenges such as Eat the Rainbow, Hydration, and Step Counter, earning rewards while building healthier habits together.

In July 2025, we proudly hosted a Milestone Dinner at O2 Beach Club & Spa, honouring 77 team members who have served for 10 years or more. With fine dining, entertainment, and heartfelt thanks, the evening celebrated loyalty, dedication, and the true pillars of our team.
