Impact Stories

Ocean Hotels Barbados partnered with the Barbados Community College's Nursing Programme to provide 20 nursing students with a workshop and hands-on work experience aimed at enhancing their hospitality and customer service skills.

This initiative helped the students develop critical soft skills such as communication, empathy, and problem-solving, which are essential for their future roles as professional carers.

Impact Stories

This year, Ocean Hotels proudly joined the global Rock Your Socks initiative on World Down Syndrome Day, celebrating inclusion, raising awareness, and showing support through colourful,
mismatched socks that spark conversation and connection.

In addition to proudly rocking our socks, our team members came together to raise and donate
$3,000 to the Barbados Down Syndrome Association. This donation will directly support the
association’s ongoing work, including therapy services, educational resources, and community
programmes that empower individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

It’s more than just a gesture, it’s a step toward greater understanding, inclusion, and impact.
